Single Frequency Stand-alone Analog Tachometer Calibrator
Coming soon: This calibrator can be used to calibrate an analog tachometer at an extremely accurate single frequency (RPM). As the components inside of these old tachometers age and the values drift, they are in constant need to tweaking to keep them accurate. This calibrator can also be used to debug broken tachs by driving them with a known signal. This calibrator can not be used to repair tachometers that have lost calibration across other RPM ranges. It requires the use of a well regulated 12 volt power supply capable of supplying at least 1 amp of current, such as a charged car or motorcycle battery.
