Announcing the Accutach Co. ClockGauge. Only 250 units will ever be made, so if you want one, don't hesitate to buy one before they are gone.
The clock in 94-97 Mustangs is in an ideal location for a gauge, but existing gauge pods are large and very obvious. The Accutach Co. ClockGauge allows you to use the OEM clock display to implement a stealth gauge there. Since Ford used the same clock in a number of other similar vintage cars, it may be possible to install the ClockGauge in them as well. That includes cars such as the Mercury Grand Marquis, Ford Crown Victoria, Ford Taurus and Lincoln Continental and possibly other Ford vehicles. Please ensure that this is the clock module in your car and there is enough room under the clock for a 1/2" PCB extension and the wiring pigtail if you want to install this in a car other than a Mustang.
The clock gauge can turn your clock into a gauge with the following optional functions:
-Temperature Gauge 1 (labeled EC)
-Temperature Gauge 2 (labeled IA)
-Pressure Gauge 1 (labeled OP)
-Pressure Gauge 2 (labeled FP)
-Volt Gauge (labeled PO)
-Air/Fuel Gauge (Labeled AF)
-Clock (labeled CL)
All of the gauge functions other than clock and volt gauge require the addition of a sensor (not included). You will need to buy a sensor for each of the gauge functions that you intend to implement in your car. You don't need to use any or all of the gauge functions that require a sensor if you don't want to. The required sensors are listed below.
The recommended AEM fluid and air temperature sensors both use the same electrical specs, so either temperature gauge function can be used for fluid and/or air temperatures. For example, you could use either the EC or IA temperature gauge function for engine coolant temperature, oil temperature, transmission fluid temperature, intake air temperature, ambient external air temperature or ambient interior temperature depending in which sensor you buy and where you locate it.
The two pressure gauge functions are similar in that they can measure any fluid pressure from 0 to 100 PSI. But the OP and FP gauge functions require the use of two different Autometer pressure sensors. For example, you could use them to measure engine oil pressure, transmission oil pressure or fuel pressure depending on where you mount the sensor.

Please download and read the Install Guide before you decide to buy the ClockGauge. The installation of all of the functions can be complex and you should be comfortable with the process. If you are not comfortable please look for a competent automotive shop to do the install for you. While you are at it, feel free to download and read the ClockGauge User Guide here too.
Here is the list of all of the optional sensors you may want to buy along with a convenient link you may want to use. Feel free to search the internet for a better place to buy if you want to.
Fluid Temperature Sensor: AEM 30-2013 fluid temperature sensor kit
Air Temperature Sensor: AEM 30-2014 air temperature sensor kit
Pressure Sensor 1: Autometer 2242 100 PSI sensor
Pressure sensor 2: Autometer 2246 100 PSI fuel pressure sensor
Wideband O2 Gauge Sensor: Any Wideband O2 sensor system with an analog output where AFR=2*V+10 will work. The ClockGauge was tested with the PLX Devices SM/AFR Wideband O2 sensor
The Autometer 2246 fuel pressure sensor should not be mounted on the fuel rail as the engine vibration will eventually cause the sensor to fail. This happened to me on my 96 supercharged Mustang Cobra. This sensor should be remote mounted off the engine. I mounted mine to the shock tower. For your convenience, we are also selling an optional fuel pressure sensor relocation kit. It includes 18" of high pressure fuel line, two fittings with clamps, a clamp for holding the sensor and a sensor electrical pigtail.
Button wear:
The lettering on the buttons on these old clock gauges vary from clock to clock. If you want to use your specific clock case for your ClockGauge, please contact us with that message before you order your ClockGauge and send your clock to us as soon as possible. We will then put a ClockGauge into your case for you. If you are willing to accept the used condition of the button lettering in our junkyard cores, then simply order your ClockGauge and return your core at your leisure to get your core charge refund.
