CompRat Compression Ratio Calculator

Use this program to get an estimate of the compression ratio of an engine .

 I have been working with Todd Warren of Apocalypse Performance to develop an on-line compression ratio calculator for engine builders.  He provided the information and I wrote the code.

It is pre-populated with base configuration data for 17 different different Ford engines.  You select the base configuration you want to start with from the drop-down menu.  If the engine you want is not visible on a PC, you can use the down arrows to see the bottom of the menu and then can click on the one you want with your mouse.

You can then customize the data for your engine to see an estimate of the compression ratio.

If you have a non-Ford engine, you can load your own engine data using the Custom drop-down selection (or any selection as a matter of fact).

You use the calculator at your own risk.  Double check all of the data for your engine to make sure that it is correct for your engine.
