Mallory Tachometer

Mallory sold an 11K RPM tachometer with a bult-in shift light and rev limiter.  The unit I worked on had a failed cold solder joint in the main timing capacitor which was easily repaired.

This tachometer was manufactured in Taiwan for Mallory by a company named Yih Tyan.

I have reverse engineered this tachometer.  The reverse engineering document can be downloaded here.  The factory installation instructions are at the end of the document.
